Blackcomb Mountain: Exclusive dining at 6000 feet

  • 01 world-class mountain
  • 6000 feet high Crystal Hut
  • 90 HP snowmobiles

Feel the excitement as you check-in and get kitted out with goggles and helmet, ready to ride your state-of-the-art snowmobile. After a short training session, you're ready to go, confident to zoom through the night, enjoying exclusive after-hours access to one of the world's most famous mountains.
Snug in your thermals, you can feel the chill of the wind give your cheeks a rosy glow. Pull down on the throttle and go a little faster, following the red light of the snowmobile ahead, winding upwards through the mountain. Slow down and look back: enjoy the breathtaking view of the lights of Whistler village spread out before you in the velvety night.  Head into the warmth of the Crystal Hut and enjoy a delicious three-course fondue feast, family-style with your fellow adventurers. The fire crackles, a guitar strums your favourite Beatles tune and there's time for just one more bite of tempting pie before heading back down the mountain.

Why you should visit

• Amaze yourself by how fast you learn to drive the snowmobile during a training session. Feel your confidence grow as you tackle the gleaming powder slopes.
• Zoom up a ski hill guided by light of the stars in the inky-black sky, following the glow of the headlights of the snowmobile in front.
• As the lights of the village fall away, stop to take photos and savour the silence. Enjoy the rare privilege of exclusive access to explore an Olympic mountain after hours.
• Guided by the flickering lights of candles in the window of the Crystal hut, park your snowmobile, knock the snow from your boots and go inside. A warm welcome awaits.
• Feast family-style on a mountain of fresh-cooked food: gooey fondue, crusty bread, locally-sourced veggies and chicken and beef tenderloin, followed by fruit pie and ice cream.
• Unwind by the fire and chat with new friends over a glass of wine. Tap your foot along to the acoustic-strummed music and maybe request a song.
• Expert now, it's time to leave the magic of the hut. In just four hours you've conquered a mountain, mastered a snowmobile and dined by candlelight at 6000 ft.
